Learn how to film your work naturally—without the overwhelm.
Whether you’re a creative, a small business owner, or building a personal brand—filming yourself, your service, or your product can feel awkward, staged, or like it takes all day. This hands-on workshop is designed to change that.
Led by Natalie Childs, owner of Our Gallery Milton and content creator behind Barefoot and Off-Grid, this workshop teaches you how to confidently and authentically capture what you already do—without needing a full production crew or hours of editing.
We’ll cover:
Filming yourself or your service with ease
Capturing your product in a natural, engaging way
How to use motion (like pan, tilt, and zoom shots) to tell your story
Simple storytelling techniques to create connection
Filming efficiently while you're in flow, not stopping and starting
Creating a Reel (or video post) on the day
You’ll also receive a take-home PDF with setup guides, filming techniques, and practical tips tailored to your gear and goals.
What to bring:
Your smartphone OR camera
Tripod (recommended for smartphones, required for cameras)
Laptop if you’re using a camera
A product or creative tools if relevant to your business
Natalie has filmed for brands including Supercalla private properties, Few and Far, Designer Eco Tiny Homes, Small Town Provisions, Pilgrims Cafe, Nguurruu Farm, and Season and Savour.
